elcome to Promising Productions
This is a 15 minute monologue written and performed by Julian Lamoral-Roberts.
Julian performed the play in June 2008 at an arts festival in Spain, and more recently at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The Red Man describes a retiree's reaction when his wife moves in with the next door neighbour!
There's more information about Julian and his work on his website.

Pluto by Jonathan Bonfiglio
This is our latest production which has now been fully mastered and is available for broadcast.
The play is set on a mountainside in Chile, so we recorded it at the dead of night on location in an olive grove in Aragon, Spain.
The cast were all there to perform the play at the Kuiperfest arts festival being held by the writer, Jonathan Bonfiglio. So our production is as authentic as we could have made it, given that we could not afford to ship the cast over to the mountains of Chile!
The four characters in Pluto are all astronomers, and three of them are related. But when Cass returns to the mountainside where her daughter and husband have an observatory, she gets a far frostier reception than she'd bargained for - even considering the thin air of the location.
Use the player on the right to hear a short clip from Pluto, and if you'd like to broadcast the play, we'd love to hear from you.
The Train Journey
We're beginning to put together a new production which is all about a train journey. Anyone who has ever travelled any distance on trains, will know the irritations and fun to be had listening to fellow travellers. We hope to capture some of that in what we hope will be an experimental kind of production.
We'll keep you posted here about progress.
